this could be the same as If jesus said "I dont like rock music" would christians say its a sin to listen to rock music. Just because jesus said he didnt like it.

'jesito_sascec' spot on. at least you can see the point. Makes me realise why there is so many christian sects. they cant read my words and get the point, how is it they can read 'Gods word' and get the point. and i am at least 'more real'.

I think, because this is such a powerful emotional evoking subject that people have missed the point.
Ok As Jesus was the mouth of God, etc..
The point that is trying to be made is... (taking his position)
In any religion, does any logic and reasoning take place or is it just blind acceptance.
Not eating pork is in one religion stance.
Not dancing is in another.
Having many wives is interpreted by some.
etc...
With so many fallible human beings interrupting the "word of God" how much has come through as the "true word of God?"
The bible was written many years after Jesus was dead. Were all his ideals and true words written in that book?
Human beings wrote it, based on stories given to them handed down by generations. Because many human beings and not the "mouth of God" wrote the Bible, isn't it open to human error?
Try to be objective and this is my interruption of what the question is about.

There's an old saying about God's Word that goes, "Jesus said it, I believe it, and that settles it!" If God makes it sinful to eat chocolate ice cream, you'd better not eat chocolate ice cream! What you're doing when you say that "it's not the same for everyone" is creating a system of religion, taking what YOU are readily willing to give an account of or hide behind in the Word and ignore the rest because it doesn't appeal to you or you don't see the harm in it. We're ALL going to have to give an account of ourselves based on the way we lived our lives in the Word! The Scripture uses the phrase "every jot and tittle" (every dotted "i" and every crossed "t") as being the depth with which we will be held accountable, so we cannot remove from or add to God's word and expect it to fly! We work out our own salavation with fear and trembling, but we do so in accordance to God's Word, not what we think is right.

True enough, I think there would be a lot of Christians who would do that. I believe the point of what you are saying here is that if Jesus said, "Don't eat chocolate ice cream," then eating chocolate ice cream would be wrong. But in your given case all he said is that he personally didn't like it, which would mean it isn't wrong, but the Jesus just didn't like it. But you're right, many Christians would take that as it means chocolate ice cream in that case would be wrong.
I think you're right that the majority of Christians need to start looking at the Bible properly and not try to infer all kinds of things from relatively harmless or rather inconsequential sayings of the various prophets.

Not necessarily. When God created things He said it was good. So anything that God creates is good. Did God create rock music? hmmm. There are things that are a matter of taste. Like chocolate and music with positive lyrics. It is not a matter of sin, so Christians wouldn't say that to like the color green is sinful, even if someone else doesn't like it. What is considered sinful are things that are morally destructive or that deprive someone of dignity, health, or other goods that they should have.
I wonder if Jesus ate his spinach?

Jesus has already said what He planned on saying so there is no point in putting forth an answer to a hypothetical question that will not take place.

Jesus never said those things so it doesn't really matter... Anyway just because Jesus doesn't like something doesn't automatically make is a sin...
