yes and no. most women like guys like you in a "oh how cute he's infatuated with me" while she's f'ing the bad boy. Why? because bad boys are interesting and not at her every whim, therefore they're worth pursuing.
while this doesn't mean you have to be a bad boy, you have to have confidence in yourself and not come off as needy. you do that and you should be fine
