Try bestbuy.com. They have some good ones for reasonable prices.

i believe that, if being the latest camcorder (meaning new thing like media type) they will not sell it reasonably, get my point? hope so.
Giving the benefit of the doubt, that they would sell it reasonably, sony hd with hdd/dvd is the latest, and as they say, reasonably priced at $1500! (ow come on!)

Wallmart or Target. If you have this store where you live, I would check out a store named Fry's Electronics. They have new and refurbished electronics.
