www.chex.com has a whole bunch of recipes for different kinds of chex mix.

I start with the recipe for the regular old chex mix, but I double the seasoned butter and use a bit different for the fillings, but that is a matter of personal taste.

The recipe is on any box of Chex cereal. I usually increase the seasonings and butter when I make it. Also, make sure you measure the cereal because it does make a difference, I use to just dump in the whole box. It turns out better it you make smaller batches rather than trying to double it, I think. I also use mainly wheat chex and some corn chex because they seem to absorb the butter and seasonings better. I don't use the rice chex. Just experiment until you come up with what you like.

The recipe is on the box, but any variation would do. Mix Chex cereal, pretzels, and peanuts with some of your favorite spices- or if you'd like to make it sweet add some honey and M&M's, I've done that before, and just bake for a few minutes.
