I would suggest you save your money in case they realize this.
Where do I apply.

Yes, I have a similar job. Most days I sit in this office and do nothing for most of my 9 or 12 hour shift (depending on the day). It is a law firm and they pay me well, and I try not to complain because I know how lucky I am to have this job. But at the same time, I look at the state of the world and think to myself, if this is the meaning of life then kill me now. I'd much rather be out doing some good elsewhere in the world than sitting in this office answering phones for rich men who can't be bothered to do it themselves.
One more year of college and I won't be tied down here any longer, and I plan to escape this country and do some actual good for the world with my life. If you're not tied down to the area you live in with school, I reccomend escaping for a while - once you have enough money saved up, just get on a plane and find somewhere that you feel important.

I would not say that my job is pointless but a lot the work I do
seems repetetive because its doing paper work on products that are already in the system. The work I do is very under payed in my opinion. I had a job w/ Xerox printing stuff for Wachovia and half the time we messed on the computers but I felt guilty because we were getting payed. When we worked we really worked, I should have stayed at that job!

you can find something productive to do at work.
Organize files, just look around and see what you can make better. ask the folks you work for how you could help them more. maybe they have jobs you could do. you have the power to change this situation. because every situation can be improved. don't sit around waiting for someone to tell you what to do. see what needs doing and do it. oh yeah, and spruce up your resume for the next job. take online classes to improve your skills. it's called INITIATIVE

Define pointless. I incite new clients to spend money with us every day so our company can grow even larger, more profitable, and of course more political.
