How much do you care about your friend? And if the tables were turned and she was in your shoes right now, what would she do? I would talk to your friend and tell her how you feel about this guy and ask her about how she really feels for this same guy..... ultimately, I would decide with my friend to cut him lose and forget about him together, but watch out, she may say that and then choose to date him herself after you are out of the picture and not showing him any intrest anymore.

yeah, there's plenty of fish in the sea, but a real friend is hard to find. so you have to make a choice; A fun fling that might last a year or two at most, or a friendship that could be life long.

just sit down with your friend and tell her that you feel the way you feel and then if he does ask you and you say yes she should respect that decision if she is your true friend.
