Yes. You can have extremely sentimental feelings for a person without being romantically attracted to them.

i believe you are referring love to 2 different things.. love, as in to like someone for the friendship, companionship and support. and to love someone, in an attraction level.

well, the attraction thing isnt really love, its just your instincts telling you that you "want" this person.

while needing to be with someone whom you can depend on, for the friendship, companionship, and long-term relationship, is another thing.

having said this, yes, you can be both love someone, and be attracted strongly to another.

yes you can...or atleast thats the way I felt about my ex...we have a child together and I loved him but wasn't IN LOVE with him anymore...
