I work in a Psychiatric unit and have seen a huge increase in drug induced Psychosis from Cannabis use. Research suggests it may have something to do with hybrid plants producing vast amounts of THC, compared with Cannabis from a pure strain.
I wouldn't legalise based on the fact that there aren't enough psychiatric units to cope with the increase in admissions. However, if it were legalised, the levels of THC could be reduced and monitored for safe levels.

canabis is just a bad as ciggeretts as you are smoking it and are taking the same tar in your lungs. even smoking pure grass has a % of tar in it.
If you wish to smoke solid or grass you need a Vapourisers this makes sure you get the buzz with out the tar and other crap that come with smoking.
Although not commonly used in the UK at present, the healthiest way of smoking cannabis is undoubtedly via a vapouriser. A vapouriser is a device that heats up cannabis to a temperature above the boiling point of THC but below the combustion point of the plant material. As a result of this the psychoactive ingredients which get you stoned are released into a vapour for you to inhale but almost all of the unwanted side-effect chemicals you get when burning cannabis can be avoided. Research has shown that vapourisers can create a gas which is at least 95% pure cannabinoids.
There are many vapouriser designs which when bought cost from around £40 for the basic type up to several hundreds of pounds for more advanced models, which may include extra features such as a temperature control. People have also made their own vapourisers using heat sources such as soldering irons or lightbulbs.
Vapourisers are particularly good for medicinal users as they allow them to use cannabis regularly with the benefits of administering it by smoking without suffering the harmful effects of the tars and other unwanted chemicals. In addition vapourisers can be so efficient that significantly less cannabis needs to be used for the same effect.
Read a study of the effectiveness of vapourisers here
This website about vaporisers is worth checking out: " Vapouriser Information Resource "
As for legalising it i wish they would is it one of the best thing i have found that control migrains!!
Cannabis has been claimed to help with a large number of wide-ranging symptoms. However, research has established three major properties which are medically useful. Cannabis is:
an analgesic (relieves pain)
an anti-emetic (relieves nausea and vomiting)
an appetite stimulant (induces hunger)
Long term health effect if you have a mental health problem it is always advicerble not to take any drugs at all as it can highten mental health problems

pot is less harmfull than booze, coffee, anti-depressants, and most class a+b drugs, however it is more likely to give you cancer than tobacco,, If you are going to smoke it, smoke grass not solid, you dont know what the solid has in it..

there is nothing in the world that is harmless. If drinking and smoking can be legal with their known harmful effects, why not cannabis???

Not legalised. You only realise what its done to you when you do stop using it.I smoked an ounce a week for ten years, and have been free of it for almost four years and my life is now so different.Dont miss it at all, would never use again.

well i smoked for a couple years as a teenager. i'm 23 now. i don't think it effected me. i enjoyed it. i don't think i'd waste the money on it now, i'm poor. but if someone were to give me some for free, i'd totally hit that up. so legal or illegal, people will smoke it for eternity.
