Now for an answer that is actually historically accurate and actually written by ME and not simply cut and pasted from some other site:

1. Oswald was witnessed by several people WHILE shooting President Kennedy and wounding Governor Connally. One of these witnesses, Howard Brennan, gave a fairly accurate description, which the police used in their search for the alleged assassin.

2. About an hour after Kennedy was assassinated Oswald shot and killed Dallas patrolman J.D.Tippit. This murder was also witnessed by at least five individuals, some of whom gave a detailed description of the killer of Tippit as well.

3. After fleeing the Tippit shooting scene, Oswald was seen lurking along Jefferson Blvd. outside Hardy's Shoe Store by store manager Johnny Brewer. He noticed Oswald (although he didn't know who he was at the time) looking in the front window at some shoes in the display window. As several police cars raced down the street behind him with sirens blaring and lights flashing, Oswald stepped FURTHER into the front entrayway of the store to avoid detection. To Brewer this was odd behavior. As the police passed the store, Oswald looked down the street and began briskly walking in the direct the police cars just went.

4. Brewer, now suspicious of Oswald's behavior (he knew of both the Kennedy and Tippit shootings since he was listening to a radio covering the breaking news), he walked out to the sidewalk to see where this odd stranger (Oswald) went.

5. About four shops down the street stood the Texas Theater. Oswald noticed that the ticket taker, Julia Postal, was standing in the road watching the police pass by so he ducked into the theater without buying a ticket.

6. Brewer observed Oswald do this and now was convinced he was trying to hide for some reason. He walked down and told Julia Postal what he had observed. She called the Dallas P.D. and gave them Brewer's description of the man who was hiding in her theater. The description matched the various descriptions given at the Tippit shooting. So the Dallas Police made a 180- degree turnaround and raced to the Texas Theater where they apprehended Oswald after a brief scuffle in the theater during which time Oswald attempted to shoot and kill Officer Nick McDonald, but his gun misfired.

7. Later as police investigated Oswald and the murder sites, they found more and more evidence linking him to the murders of both men and they did not find ANY evidence pointing to any OTHER gunman or gunmen. Up to today's date (unless some new evidence has been uincovered during the time it has taken me to compose this answer) there is still no hard evidence that ANYONE besides LHO was responsible for the murder of President Kennedy, the wounding of Texas Governor John Connally, and Dallas Patrolman J.D. Tippit.

I will welcome ANY questions on this topic. EVERY question has a clear answer.

It was all a set up the way the police entered a dark cinema and went straight to Oswald without looking at anyone else. The way Oswald smiled at jack ruby when he saw him it was all a set up from start to finish.

You really need to look into this yourself; it is a rather long story.

"According to the Warren Commission report, immediately after he shot President Kennedy, Oswald hid the rifle behind some boxes and descended the Depository's elevator and sent it back up. On the second floor he encountered Dallas police officer Marion Baker who had driven his motorcycle to the door of the Depository and sprinted up the stairs in search of the shooter. With him was Oswald's supervisor Roy Truly, who identified Oswald as an employee, which caused Baker, who had his pistol in hand, to let Oswald pass. Oswald bought a Coke from a vending machine in the second floor lunchroom, crossed the floor to the front staircase, descended and left the building through the front entrance on Elm Street.

At about 12:40 p.m. (CST), Oswald boarded a city bus by pounding on the door in the middle of a block, but when heavy traffic had slowed the bus to a halt he requested a bus transfer from the driver.[29] He took a taxicab a few blocks beyond his rooming house at 1026 N. Beckley Ave. then walked back there to retrieve his revolver and beige jacket at about 1:00 p.m., and moments later left the house. He lingered briefly at a bus stop across the street from his rooming house, then began walking. His ultimate destination is unknown, but by the time he was stopped he had walked almost a mile (1.6 km) and was only four blocks away from a 1:40 p.m. city bus which could have connected him with a Greyhound bus headed south for Mexico.

Officer J. D. Tippit had very likely heard the general description of the alleged shooter (based on the statement of witness Howard Brennan who had seen Oswald in the window of the Depository from across the street) which was broadcast over the police radio at 12:45 p.m.. Thirty minutes later Tippit encountered Oswald near the corner of Patton Avenue and 10th Street and pulled up to talk to him through his patrol car window. Tippit then got out of his car and Oswald fired at the police officer with his .38 caliber revolver. Four of the shots hit Tippit, killing him instantly in view of several witnesses.[30] Oswald reloaded his revolver as he walked away, throwing the empty cartridge cases into some bushes. At least a dozen people either witnessed the shooting or identified Oswald as fleeing the scene. A cab driver hiding behind his taxi heard Oswald mutter "poor dumb cop" or "poor damn cop" as he walked by. Oswald then broke into a run, still holding the pistol in his hand. Moments later, Oswald dropped his jacket in a parking lot. Officer Tippit's service revolver was found under his body, out of its holster.

A few minutes later, Oswald ducked into the entrance alcove of a shoe store on Jefferson Street to avoid passing police cars, then slipped into the nearby Texas Theater without paying (the film being shown was War Is Hell, narrated by Audie Murphy). The shoe store's manager saw all of this, followed him and alerted the theater's ticket clerk, who phoned police. Once inside, Oswald changed seats several times. The police quickly arrived and poured into the theater as the lights were turned on. Officer M.N. McDonald approached Oswald sitting near the rear and ordered him to stand. Oswald punched McDonald and drew his revolver. The officer's report states that Oswald pulled the trigger, but the hammer came down on the skin between the thumb and hand of the officer, who was attempting to grab the pistol, and the weapon did not fire. McDonald briefly struggled with Oswald before other officers subdued and arrested him at 1:50 p.m.. As he was led past an angry crowd who had gathered outside the theater, shouting for Oswald's death, he yelled back that he was a victim of police brutality.

I think He used to work in the Book Depository building, and witnesses saw him in the building not to long before JFK was shot, and they went from there based on evidence to his house where they arrested him.
