It's absolutely okay...and she should appreciate the fact that you care enough about yourself and her, to want to know she's disease free (and of course you should be able to provide proof that you are as well).

In today's world, it's something that should be mentioned before any two people have sex for the first time.

Yes, as a matter of fact both of you should. Let her know you are willing to give her the same respect and that it would be the safest thing for both of you. (even if you know you haven't got anything it will show her that you are not assuming negative things about her). If after that she still gets offended then she is the one with the problem not you. Stick to your guns. This is your health you are talking about.

YES, you should ALWAYS DO THIS!

it shows a definite sign of maturity, and that you are ready for the responsibilities that come with sex.

NOT asking, and not getting tested is how diseases get spread. Just make sure you get tested TOO, it goes both ways.

YES!
Find a free clinic in your area that does the testing, and you can both go together. Say "we should do this together, so that we both know."
Do NOT say "you should get tested because I'm not sure about you're background."
Good question.
Very responsible. You are a smart guy. Good luck.

YES, Make sure you do it to. That way you both know for a fact each of you are clean. Way to go on showing respect for yourself and your partner. We need more considerate people like you in this world.

Better safe than sorry. She may want to know too. If not, you may not want to be with this kind of person. I know a girl that has herpes and she will not tell the people she sleeps with. So be very careful. You may get something you can't wash off.

yes it is ok
its a definite ok
you just want to be safe and that should be ok with your partner too
if your partner does not want to get tested with you
than your partner is not worth having around you
because they are being selfish and not smart
so its a very good idea
