Yes I sure do miss my Daddy, he died 3 years ago from cancer. We watched him suffer and go downhill, lose weight, hallucinate, be humiliated by having to depend on other people to help him with everything, we watched his pride and self esteem dissapear, he thought of himself as a burden on everyone else, he became depressed to the point he did'nt laugh, talk, or want to really be around anyone at times. Watching Daddy suffer like this tore my heart out. The doctors let him know that his cancer was terminal from the start, and that he only had a few months left to live. My God it killed all our hearts to hear this news.I can only tell anyone out there that is lucky enough to still have ur daddy living to never take 1 single second for granted, because nobody ever knows what tommorow will bring. My Daddy was the best Daddy in the world and there's not 1 single day that goes by that I don't miss and think about him.

My father passed away 3 years ago when I was 21 - it was the year I was graduating from university and he really wanted to be there. Little did I know we'd never meet again. I made it to his funeral (in Africa - I was at university in England). It was really hard to go back and sit for my final exams, but on graduation day I was sure he was there in spirit.

I still miss him very much, and will always miss him.

Just be strong, and support your mum and all your other family members. They say time makes it easier, but I don't think so. You're not alone, he's always with you.

My dad used to say if something happened to him, I should look up at the stars and he'd be watching down on me.

I don't know for sure from your question but it appears that you lost your dad to a family breakup. That's sad and I'm sorry to hear that. I also lost my father at an early age. He died when I was 3 years old from a brain tumour. Allthough I never got to know him I still do miss not having him in my life. So please if you have an opportunity to love your dad do so and let him know how special he is in your life.

Haven't been close with my Pops for more than 12 years and I'm in my 20's now so it doesn't really matter ya know, not like he can help me out in any way.

I do miss him though when I think of how things use to be when he was in my life as a child.

I miss my Dad a lot and I think of him often. He died suddenly 28 ago and I still cry sometimes because I love him so much and wish I could talk to him one more time. Sometimes I dream about seeing him - he was my hero.

My Daddy was the sweetest, kindest man in the world. He would do anything for anybody. All the kids in our neighborhood growing up called him "Uncle Al, the kiddies pal". Daddys calm demeanor and patient ways were loved by all. He died in the midst of doing a favor for another person. There will never be another like him.
