Ok, i have alot of stomach issues and when i am sitting in the bathroom, i am often uncomfortable...Why not invent a reclining toilet. this would be great for people who are sick or need to lay down. Its cleaner than a bedpan if the peson using it can get up. just an idea. What do ya think?

i just want to point out that i would never actually invent this, i'm not that smart, but i think it would be a good idea. I didn't think about some of the things you guys have brought up. Keep them coming!

When you recline... it kind of "jams" things up back there and oes not place all your parts in the right angle to do your business... it won't work but nice try!

A very interesting Idea. I think it might be a little bit messier on your person than a bedpan, since your in a little bit more inconvient position, but at least you wouldn't have go back and forth from the bathroom to your bedroom...

No market for such thing.
We've been trained since childhood. Expenses to replace the millions of toilets seats in the world that don't need to be replaced in the first place to satisfy the needs of the few don't justify the expense.
It's all about money. Sad, but true.

Good concept, but there may be serious space issues since most bathrooms are fairly small.
