To tell you the truth - I didn't BUY my husband anything for a wedding present, I didn't even know it was common to.

I did however try to treat him and spoil him on our wedding night by wearing some gorgeous lingerie and massaging his entire body. I think that was the one present he'll never forget or lose because it's etched in his memory AND it's not something he'll be getting regularly :-)

The best present I could've asked for was sitting on the bed after the wedding, going through our cards, messages and thereafter opening our presents one by one (we didn't register for anything, we thought it would spoil whatever people thought would suit us or what they wanted to buy us).

Congratulations and, have a wonderful wedding and blissful married life.

Something that would be special to him but that he normally wouldnt buy for himself. Does he have a hobby? Golf?...maybe some new clubs or a membership to an exclusive club for 2 yrs. Does he love sports? Maybe season tickets to his favorite team. Just put a little thought into it and make it personal for him. He will love anything that you give him.

Now one final thought. If you are a brave soul and really want to make it special here is what myself and alot of my friends have done. Go to a very reptutable photographer and have some intimate photos taken. (they dont have to be racy to be beautiful, even just showing shoulders or a lil leg is enough.) Make sure that the photographer is really knowlegable about this style of photograpy. Have a session then either present him with the proofs from the session or choose a photo and have it enlarged for him. He will go crazy over this thought of you being his wife and also this sex symbol for only him.

ps. a good thing to wear for the session is your wedding day undergarments. (if they are somewhat pretty) Then tell him when you present this that you have those on under your dress. hehe

Hi there. I gave my groom (who is in to wine) a bottle to open on our first, fifth, tenth and twentieth wedding anniversary. It makes a lovely reminder of the day, and it's something we can look forward to. It's consumable, but it's not something that can go out of style, or be replaced by new technology, or be used up instantly. It depends if your groom is into wine or not, but you can use that whole "anniversary" theme and present him with letters to be opened on those dates, or a port to be put down until 20 years from then. It's quite a small investment when you consider how much it appreciates over time.

Anyway, hope this sparked the imagination!

If you have the money get him a TAG Watch. All men love those and they are classy, only about 2,000-3,000 dollars. I didn't get my husband anything, he didn't get me anything. We planed the wedding to fast to save up for something like that. So our 6 month anniversary we gave each other gifts (the watch). It is his seond tag watch. When his best friend got married that is what his wife gave to him also. He loved it to. But if you don't have that much money suggest to him skipping it and use the extra money on the honeymoon. Maybe you can buy something together there that you can put in your new house and always look at to remember the honeymoon.

A promise ring. Look at this website. Gaelic rings are charming and the history behind promise rings go back to medieval times. Look up this website. Wedding bands are all fine and nifty, but it's for show.

A promise ring is given in the privacy of your wedding night, while toasting to your future. You say the promise you want to make to your hubby and give him the ring.

Best of luck!!

I'm giving my fiance boudair shots in a nice photo album as his gift.

Get your hair and make up done..and set up an appointment with a good photographer (that isn't so expensive). Its best to find a photographer that will let you own the rights to your cd or photos taken.

Then create a story book album out of them.

Take sexy shots w/ his favorite insturment, baseball team hat, or football jersey. Its a keepsake that will remind him to never leave home.

Well you don't have to buy him anything. But I bought my husband a bride and groom ornament, wrote a special letter, and I made him a scrapbook of us. You buy him something that he really wants. Or buy some lingerie and model it for him on your wedding night.

A watch is a great wedding gift. It will be something he uses everyday.

That's a hard one cause guys usually aren't sentimental. I got my husband a pocket knife that he was really wanting and got our names and marriage date etched onto the blade. He still carries it with him every day 7 years later.
