I am having a hard time right now- There are so manty things that make me love my man- but do they really make up for the things I dont like about him? What makes you love the one your with- and does it overcome what you dont like?

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

You have to concentrate on the good things and those reasons why you love him.
Everyone does things that annoy others. It's life. Annoyances aren't good enough reasons to break up with someone or stop loving them.
But, if a person commits acts that are hurtful, abusive, controlling, cheating, lying...those big things, then yes...you should stop loving that person and get them out of your life.
Everyone has different things that are called 'relationship breakers'. Don't let those be annoyances, but those really big things that you just won't put up with.
Some of us are willing to put up with those terrible actions. And those people have self-esteem issues and a very low self-confidence. Those are the codependent among us. Don't be one of those.
So? Are those things that he does merely annoyances, or are they 'relationship breakers'? Once you decide that...then you will know if you can still love him or not. I hope that helps.

The good things usually win out over the bad things. That is what helps when sorting out how you feel about someone. if you wake up every daynot feeling like you wish that person would go away, if you still find yourself thinking about them at odd times in your day and it makes you smile, In time all will be revealed to you, until then enjoy your time with a good man... love is accepting a person for the good the bad and the ugly. there is no perfect human being in this world so if one is looking for the person who has no bad in hin /her then they will look for the rest of their lives. unless this person is hurting u or hurting any one else accept it and think abt what he also has to live with in u i am sure u also have negative points that he has accepted

Love doesn't make up for being not being respected. That means no lying...no cheating...no being irresponsible...no physical or emotional abuse. Love does not forgive any of those things.

i love mine because he id diffrent sure theirs thing i dont like bout him but no ones perfect u have to the things that you dont like are they really thant important and how they affect you .

the way she acts and how confortable i am with her. those things that make her imperfect are what makes the realionship interesting.
