I think you know your answer! Its over and it has been for sometime now.... He is feeling weird by the whole thing and doesn't want to be your friend.... move on, if you both can go months without saying a word to eachother, then don't say a word to eachother ever again.... you have as much to say as he does.... NOTHING... so let it go already.

If that person meant enough to me, then I'd attempt to regain the friendship closer to a level we had in the past...however people grow and change and sometimes friends drift apart...
It's up to you to decide whether you want this person to be a larger part of your life...and then take steps to find out if they feel the same...

Just carry on with your life without your friend. It's clear that he's not interested in continuing the friendship. Find some other people to socialise with.

well then maybe you just need to try and be friends with him again. Dating a friend can ruin a friend ship...sometimes it just doesn't. It works for somepeople and some times not. i have dated friends...and we never lost interest in eachother as such of being friends. But all you got to do is talk to him...start a convo...blah...blah...blah...thats all you got to do. And if he never talkes to you...forget about him. It was all fun and games.

You're on thin ice, because when a man doesn't talk anymore, he's really upset. But don't give up yet! If you haven't seen him for a while, and I mean for a while, try again. Sorry to say this, but one of you 2 has to give up their pride, otherwise...

Unfortunately life goes on and we loose many of the people in our lives that were at one point or another very important. Sorry! As time goes on we change and so do they.

when you go out with a close friend these things happen.
I would say to the girl/boy stay friends and the frienship and forget about us going out.
My ex has but we see each other once in a while
