The answer to this should be interesting. I expect the usual trash from people but it would be interesting to receive heart felt responses from people who actually contemplate the question.

This is a serious answer, okay?

Many years ago, there was a very famous journalist named H.L. Mencken. Among other things, Mencken was a lifelong agnostic; and someone once asked him, "Mr. Mencken, when you die, what are you going to do if suddenly you wake up and find yourself surrounded by St. Peter and the Apostles?"

And Mencken replied, "I'd doff my hat and say, 'Gentlemen, apparently I was mistaken.'"

We live in a world without proofs, and as such, what else can we do but live according to the best dictates of our consciences, and let the chips fall as they may. Mencken's quote works fine for me.

I'll go one better and tell u what he will say.
Jesus will say, ‘’Open the gate'’. The gate will be opened and the Antichrist will be waiting behind it accompanied by an army of 70,000 Jews, each armed with a sword and shield. The Antichrist on seeing Prophet Jesus among the Muslims will begin to dissolve like salt in water and will begin to flee. Prophet Jesus will say to him, ‘’You will remain alive until I strike you with my spear, ‘’He will catch up with him at the Eastern gate of Ludd (Ludd is a mountain in Syria. Some say that it is a village in Jerusalem, and some say that it is a village in Palestine) and then Prophet Jesus will kill him with a small spear.

The Muslims will thereafter defeat and wipe out Antichrist’s army. The Jews will not be able to hide behind anything on that day. Every time they try to hide behind a stone, a wall, a tree (except a boxthorn tree), or animal. Allah will make these things speak and they will say, ‘’O servant of Allah there is a Jew hiding behind me. come kill him.'’ After this He will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the tax. Wealth will be in such abundance that none will care about it and a single prostration in a Prayer will be better than the world and all that is in it.

I don't think that Jesus is wrong, but I do know that he is dead. Unless you count the Mexican guy I know who likes to recycles cans, his name is Jesus as well and he isn't exactly dead, possibly strung out but not dead.
As fsr as what Jesus supposedly taught all those years ago, I believe it is the interpretation that is wrong. People hear what they want to hear or people of power like to manipulate the words of hero's or martyrs to control the masses. That is what I think has been done...
Jesus wasn't the only guy who was a prophet, there have been a few others who again are mostly dead.
Personally I don't care if I am wrong. I have lived my life according to my own rules and never once have had to worry about anyone who got out of control with the idea of my 'religion' killing anyone else in the name of their god. Wait, I don't have a god.....yeah well you know what I meant.

Well thinking Jesus is wrong just means you haven't accepted him yet. When you find urself thinking that less and less, I think you willl eveentually grow to think of him as a friend a father or anything you want or need him to be. I hope you will see I took time to give a heart felt response to you.

Jesus never existed. But your question falls apart after you consider that fact. Let me ask you. Will faith be enough when we make a time machine, go back, get Jesus (if you believe in him) and talk with him, and when he admits it was a lie, and there is no god? That is the same type of thing. You say he would never say that, well I say he did not exist. Your question assumes he exists, and is for that wrong.

My response: "My God, there really was something to all this religous stuff after all." Then, I'd walk up to him and say something like, "what's happenin' man?" to see if he had a sense of humor. Then maybe we could go out for a couple of beers or something.

Yep, this is the usual trash you expected, didn't want you to be disappointed.

Well, I don't believe that I'll see him, but for argument's sake...

If I did find Jesus about to pass judgment on me as a non-believer, after saying "Holy crap, guess I was wrong" I would explain to him why I didn't believe while alive and then describe the life I'd led while on Earth...I would then throw myself at his mercy and hope that my life was worthy of his god's grace...

If that's not good enough, then I was right not to believe in the first place...

If the second coming is true, I have lived my life to be the best person I can be, I am my brothers keeper, and therefore knowing what Christ taught, I would ask (in this specific situation) if I could walk and talk with him for a while. I hope that answers your question.

I know what you mean...it is all OK right now for them to ridicule a just God..but how will they really act when they are face to face with God and have to answer for all of the talk and sin in their lives...it wont be as they say I'm afraid but it will be a terrifying time for them....one they could have never had to deal with....it is totally avoidable.......it is sad to know you have the truth and they reject it.....I pray they open their hearts and receive

Never said Jesus' teachings were wrong...Just he isn't coming back...He failed the scriptural tests for being anything other than MAN...Great teacher and ahead of his time...but NOTHING MORE THAN MAN. If he were in fact the Messiah than humanity as we know it would have ceased to exist at one of two points in the time of Jesus...At the time of his death on the Cross...Or at the time of his resurrection we would have ascended or descended--that didn't happen. So far as his dying for our sins goes...That's why the Jews were the chosen people...Chosen to suffer living penance for the sins of humanity. This is why the Jews don't accept Jesus as their Messiah or saviour. PEACE!
