How can a good boyfriend get dumped?

First off, this is not about me. I see this sh*t happened all the time in relationships. A guy treat her girl right. Do all the right things. Say all the right things. Not a cheater, always truthful, and a pretty good looking guy. But the girl end up dumbing him because he doesnt have any flaws? What de hell?! Some girl said " well he's too good its scary." What? Or "He deserves better than me so I let him go." He deserve the person he chooses to love, wtf do you mean he deserve better? I understand relationships is complicated but this one i do not get at all. Chicks like a guy who treat them bad? No wonder chicks like badboys. And enough with you girls saying, being too perfect is boring. Having conflicts is fun? Sometimes I dont get the ladies.

Sometimes girls just don't know a good thing when they have it. Others know that they have a good thing but feel that they are not good enough for them because they may be the type with a roaming eye. That's what they may mean by you deserve someone better. She just wasn't into the committment thing. Don't give up. You'll find the one.

Hey when you get an answer to this one let me know. I was broke up with because she said that "you deserve better". I'm not going to say i was the perfect bf but i didnt do anything wrong and it was a great relationship but yet she dumped me. I think it is just an excuse most of the time. But there may be some times when a girl truely does love a guy so much that she is scared to hurt him. I believe that happened to me once to. I asked a girl out and she said no because she didnt want to end up hurting me like all of her other bf. I guess its a toss up.

Let me elucidate.

Back when, there was this girl I was sweet on. But I was a rather callow youth and came off as not mature enough (whatever that means).

This guy she has her eyes on was two years older and had a real job.

I got dumped. It was a nice letdown, but it still hurt. A year later, she married him. Five years (and two kids) later, she divorced him for being a wife beater.

Go figure.

A guy can do absolutely everything right, but sometimes there's just no chemistry. Love isn't a by the book thing, if she doesn't love him, she doesn't love him and the relationship has no point, no matter how good it is.

Also, considering this is about your friend and not you, you really can't assess him as the perfect boyfriend. You weren't dating him, so you really don't know the things they talked about or did when they were alone. You shouldn't judge a relationship on what it looks like from the outside, because theres no real way of knowing what went on between them. You only know one side of the story.

I dumped a really good boyfriend because I could see that it was very serious for him and he wanted to get married. I didn't love him and so didn't want our marriage.

its not all the girls that do that, i would never do that. my last bf cheated on me so just remember, not ALL girls dump a guy because they are too perfect i would not do that cuz they want to be with you.
