If i'm trying to apologize to my girlfriend what should I do and buy?

I wouldn't do a lot right now - not too many promises - let her do most of the talking - she has to trust you again and probably she wants to. Than it helps if you just try to show her that you care for her and respect her feelings and wishes, in silence and gestures
as for the gift: for me it would be a big bouquet of "flowers" -- sooo classic but very sweet I think -- just make it a big one -- it says more than words can !
