Ohhhh! I am so glad you thought about this idea. I answered your original question and for some reason I started thinking about it yesterday and I wondered why at the time I didn't think about telling you to share the dance with your friend with your dad. So glad you came up with the idea.
How about the song "Unforgettable" by Natalie King with her father?
Once again best of luck with your wedding. You are so sweet to be so caring about your friend. Everyone should have a friend like you.

in case you haven't any longer have been given an experienced DJ, my advice is google appropriate wedding ceremony dance songs or something like that, and check out a majority of those lists. the clarification this concerns is that no longer all individuals are solid at understanding what songs human beings take excitement in and want to bounce to. once I prepare a catalogue of songs for my reception, my DJ took a number of of them and laughed at others. He caught in a pair of songs I hated, yet he promised those could get definitely everyone up and rocking. He became precise. With an excellent variety of people, you do no longer would desire to discover songs for each section. extremely, you want music that appeals to the main important team. And those lists are the suitable thank you to discover that music. For the main section, they do no longer look to be overused and trite - they are prevalent, and with solid reason.

Dance with my Father by Luther Vandross is perfect, if almost too perfect for her dance with your father, but may not fit for both dances...is it possible to mix one song into another? Also, have you thought about how you are going to inform people what is going on, or have you chosen not too? People may just wonder what is going on...all of a sudden another person is dancing with your father. People may just be curious and may ask your friend (which is probably not what you want to happen)

Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler originally from the soundtrack of Beaches. It is beautiful, spiritual and as a Daddy's Girl, this song would be reflective of my relationship with my father.

I don't think that's a good idea, even though your heart is in the right place. It is your wedding, your moment with your dad; it's not right for your family or for your guests to have you do this personal thing then.

While your heart is in a good place, do not take away from your dad and daughter dance.
She can dance with your dad at any time throughout the night -- don't let your day be overrun by her sadness.

Hey Gal, You must have a big heart..
Here is a suggestion that I think would fit the situtation..
How about:
" Smoke gets in your eyes "
" It's a long long time from May to September "
Both are very good songs.
Good Luck.

I'm not sure what type of music you, your friend, or your dad like, but I'd suggest something that has to do with friendship and family, like you're saying "you can have my dad as your dad, and you will be like my sister".
