Then why didn’t he bring any of this stuff out sooner? I bet Jesus could have really used a PDA to arrange his busy miracle working, leper touching, prostitute saving schedule. So why didn’t he bring out this stuff earlier and what is he holding out from us now?

ROFL

I think everyone else is taking this question too seriously. I am amused. Thanks!

After seeing some of the questions on this site, I wonder.

I had no idea that there were so many unbelievers.
So many non religious.
So many anti-Christians.
So many anti-god people.
I am shocked.
I perceive that most are young.
From some of the questions I find that a lot have no morals.
They are nonspiritual.

When you are young, all seems to be out in front of you.
You will never die, you will never grow old, it is marvelous.
The heights of technology?
This is nothing, you should see what is coming.
We will move into the power of the mind.
Amazing stuff.
You have heard of people that hear voices.
They are called crazy.
Perhaps they are not crazy, their minds have something turned on that others do not.
Maybe the voices actually exist.
Not he ones that try to get you to murder, their out there too.
You won't need a PDA or any such hand held device.
The future holds unbelievable things.

I don't own a PDA, and I arrange my schedule just fine, thank you.

Maybe we could have had this technology sooner if our civilizations didn't keep periodically falling apart from internal wars (the next civilization has to start all over again from scratch, more or less).

Of course, if we had this technology before, we would have had nuclear weapons and global warming back in the days of the Roman Empire. Would the world have survived so long if they had? I'm not sure that we as a race are mature enough to handle the technology that we now have.

God knows all things on heaven and earth. He is omnipresent
and omnipotent which he is the only eye witness to the past, present and future. Wisdom and knowledge are two of God's many attributes that have been given to those who loves him through his son, Jesus Christ. The Lord has had his hand and controlled history from the beginning. The Ancient of Days will crush all nations who oppose and make war against Israel.
The Lord has sworn by blood covenant with Abraham to protect Israel and the Jews. The kings of the earth will come against Jerusalem in three separate campaigns, which the Lord stated the destruction of one these coalitions in the book of Zechariah.

This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. Zechariah 14:12

Technology came because great minds were working hard to demonstrate miracles by means of proofs discernable to us. The trouble is that many of us believed more in the proofs than the miracles. God does not hold anything from us. It is us rejecting what God is offering.

Interesting question. Here's the reason we didn't progress faster. Religion was/is basically anti-science and to protect itself from science they made an edict that most if not all things come under the auspices of faith. Having done that they proceeded to make QUESTIONING how things work or why they work the way they do a SIN thus stifling scientific query to a large extent. Religion than is one of the primary reasons that humanity hadn't progressed faster than it has. PEACE!

I don't believe that God interferes with our freewill to pursue understanding the basic laws that govern our world. While technology does do some incredible things, it is not all good. There is something to be said about living a simple life.

Our greatest accomplishments are just folly to Him.

1Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

The modern god of monotheism values faith over all else, which necessarily means he despises reason and the technology it brings forth. That's why he invented the dark ages.

Because god was too busy not existing at that time, just as it is now.
