One of my Muslim friend told me that the first ever concept of TIME TRAVEL can be seen in Hadith.

He told me a story that Mohammed was taken to the Jerusalem and then to seventh heaven, he spent a lot of time there (I don’t remember how long).

But when he returned to Makkah his bed was still warm, and the water from a jug he had overturned as he left, still spilling onto the floor.

Now I don’t care if Mohammed had fabricated this story. Or

He was just dreaming about it. Or

He was taken to the alien's mother ship, instead of seventh heaven.

I just want to know from Muslim friends if this story is available in hadith?

Give me a link, I searched a lot but I didn’t get this warm bed and water spilling things.

Thanks

Please read this "water from a jug he had overturned as he left, still spilling onto the floor"

Sounds like He was in a different time zone, or something.

You can do the interpretation of this story both ways to be physical journey and there are many people who believe it was spritual journey. We have verses in Qur'an which are not very detailed regarding this journey. The journey did happened whether physical or spritual.

Hello,

I read also a Hadith about "Parallel Worlds", however, I forgot it!
I remember the Hadith says that there was other Adams on other worlds and other Abrahams on other worlds, but I can not find the Hadith and I am not sure with it is a famous and true story or not!

I don’t think it is a concept of time travel,

it is more like traveling between two time zones,
Something likes "Chronicle of Narnia" LOL

You have the link, Read it carefully.

sorry I dont know the reference but this is mentioned in hadiths that Muhammad (a.s) went to heavens and when he returned , the time was stop. this is called as Waqiaye mairaj.
Its not just this hadiths, but Quran in several places signifies that time is relative, when the people believe that time was absolute. its in 20th century we came to know this fact. quran says 1400 years ago..
God’s religion i.e. Islam is not bound by these discoveries of 20th century. He revealed in 7th century to His Prophet, Muhammad (a.salaam), that Time is relative. The Qur’an (the word of God) says in two verses, (22:47 and 32:5), that the measure of one day in the sight of Allah is equal to 1,000 years of our reckoning. These verses generally mean that the time of Allah (swt) is incomparable to the earthly time. Also in another place, Quran says that on day of judgement people will think that they have spent a day or part of day in their whole life. Hence clearly mentioning the relative nature of time.

Chapter 23 verse 112 onward

112. He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?"

113. They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account."

114. He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known!

science has recently discovered it .

hope this answers.

the point to be noted is that not a single scientific fact of quran has been proved wrong.
