E.g. abortions, homosexuality, cloning and other genetic research, sex outside of marriage ect. If you don't agree with it fine but don't try to make it law that every one needs to believe the same thing as you and your imagery friend as you are trying to with abortions and civil partnerships.

Here is a better question... why are you so bothered by Christians? WE ARE PEOPLE TOO! You are free to believe what you want, but so are we... Hello!
Is it okay to kill? NO, even if it is a baby that hasn't been born. Why do so many people not believe in God, but they try to play God by killing babies, cloning... It is wrong! Period! Did you ever think that if people wouldn't have sex outside of marriage that there wouldn't be as much of a need for abortion??
I have no problems with civil partnerships... just don't call it marriage. They are free to live and love just as I am, but marriage is a sacrament given BY GOD. So why would any homosexual want to be married? To live by 1 of Gods laws shouldn't they want to follow them all? Don't get it at all, if that makes me a moron, well, then that is fine. Look me up when you get to Heaven, Oh wait, you won't be there!

I disagree with you that abortion is about everyone's genitals. Genitals is what occurs previously a baby starts to advance. After that, it has to do with an entire man or woman of which we are no longer focusing on the genitalia of the baby. As to at least something of the question. maximum Christian charity is given in the route of alternative themes. as an social gathering, all "missions" classes are for Evangelism which isn't about any of those themes (even abortion) you aspect out. There ARE charities for little ones with HIV/AIDS so perchance you need to choose to no longer see us do this, yet maximum of those aren't any further considered Evangelism. all the Samaritan's handbag projects (as an social gathering) are in the different case too. and that i will't count number what percentage ministries there are like Sam's handbag, even if they're between the appropriate and best. Then there are the "church planting" efforts global, back considered "Missions" yet no longer concerning the themes you look overly fascinated in.

William C, how can you deny that christians have tried to make these laws?

People are pushing HARD for an amendment to the constitution to persecute gays for religious reasons.

How many anti-abortion laws have been passed with religions intention? 100's 1000's?

Bush just vetoed science spending on stem cells based on a religious position.

There actually ARE laws against adultery. Most famously, the US military still even prosecutes for it.

You need to start living in the real world, and not the fantasy you've constructed for yourself.

As Christians, we should without a doubt be concerned about our society. Having said that, I think that many Christians miss the forest for the trees by knowing what the Bible says but not adhering to what it says in the way they approach dealing with certain issues.

erm, what makes it your business then? You have your opinion, we got ours... in your view nobody should say anything about anything then.... what can I say, we are social beings with opinions and the means to express them.

or are you for censorship. Every body that does not agree with me should shut up.... that would mean your against your own countries laws. You better leave then if its really bothering you. There are nations that suit your idea better, iran, indonesia... you feel better at home there then I guess

If I disagree with abortion, then its my business too, as much as yours if you do agree on abortion.

Simple. A silly old book written by ignorant and superstitious bronze age tribesmen says people should be stoned to death for those types of activities. But stoning is a bit passe, so we lock 'em up instead.

As a male why are you concerned about abortion
Unless you are gay why are you concerned about homosexuality
Unless you have a physical defect why are you worried about cloning.

Why is it alright for others to be concerned about the society they live in and not okay for Christians to have the same rights?

Are you bothered by the fact that God points out your own sins as well as everyone elses?

*You call God imaginary, but just wait. You will be in for a rude awakening if you continue to mock His existence.*

No these things you list here were never law. They are trying to make them or have "recently" become law. Yes, immorality is a concern that "concerns"--affects us (Christians).
