When I don’t have things to talk about I have the tendency to make up stories.
What do you think I should do to stop it. Please be serious when answering this question. Thanks

If you don't reveal the true nature of the "story", yes it is lying. Withholding factual information or adding fictional information is also lying. I have a suggestion, if you really like to tell stories, why not write a novel or a short story? Channel your ability into a positive activity, seriously. Using your imagination in fictional literature is beneficial, and you can tell all the stories you want, and you won't be lying.

Who cares? If it's not hurting anyone then I don't see a problem with embellishing a story to make conversation or liven things up. People make up or emeblish all the time.. If everyone is bored.. who cares...

On the other hand.. you could be a pathalogical liar.. in which case you should see a therapist.. which might be hard.. cause you wouldn't tell them the truth anyways..

Good luck with that.
