How old do you have to be to play paintball in different scenarios (controlled supervised tournemant-type field, private woodland area, etc)?

what do u think? your not going to put a 10 year old with 20 year old playing paintball...

its more about maturity than age. some 10 yr olds kick butt while others can't handle it. if a kid can understand the rules, handle his marker safely, and doesn't mind getting hit he should be able to play at some level. i've seen kids as young as 7 or 8 play well and then there's some 16 yr olds that just can't do it. kids make a smaller target and move faster that some 50 something like me and i've been taken out by more than one 10 year old. when you get down to it paintball is just tag with a long reach and a good hard slap when you're tagged.

They have young gunz tournaments which you have to be 17 or under to enter and then they have open tournaments for all ages. But for large scenario games any age over 8-10 (depends on host) is normally acceptable if the kid's parent signs a waver

10-14 years old- Has to be on a insured paintball feild with professional supervision.
14-18-Adult supervision.
18+-Just be responsible.
I am 14 and have played with 30 year olds. And been in tornaments.

This is what is so great about paintball you can be anything young,old,fat,skinny,short,and tall there will be different tournaments and will also sort by ages sometimes it really depends on the tournaments

im 12 and i've played with 20,30, year olds, teens, and kids my age
