I treated my 2 dogs with Frontline and 2 weeks after, I found a large infestation of fleas on them. Has anyone had this experience?

Yes, but you have to consider how long they were scratching the eggs off previously to being treated.

Those fleas will hatch and re-infest your pets, but the Frontline does work.... in time. By the second application, you will see definate results.

You could flea-bomb your house as an added precaution.

Also, Frontline Plus is the best because it kills flea and tick adults, eggs, larvae and chewing lice. Did you follow directions to a tee? You have to wait 2-3 days after bathing them to apply it.

Personally I have better luck using Advantage for fleas. I know Frontline is for fleas as well, but Advantage has worked better for me for flea problems. You may have a nest of fleas in your yard and the flea has to get on your dogs to bite them for the Frontline to work, so maybe that is why you're still seeing the fleas on the dogs, maybe they're getting on, biting and then dying, but because they're getting into a nest of new ones it doesn't appear to be working. I would switch to Advantage and just make sure you keep it on the dogs and maybe eventually you will kill off the nest of fleas as new ones get on and bite the dogs. Best of luck, I know fleas are worrisom! This year seems to be a bad year for them too, lots of dogs I've seen are really wrapped up in fleas this year!

You need a different tactic. You will have to eradicate the Al Qaeda/Hamas/Hizbollah flea training camps throughout the world to get rid of this kind of flea. Don't worry - George Bush is behind you.

Are you sure that you had the right Frontline for the weights of your dogs?

I have to agree with the first answer, & you just may want to let the Vet. know about this also, so you don't over dose the animal.

Knock,knock..(on your forehead!)???
FLEAS HAVE TO BITE before they die from the insecticide in your dog!!! NOT A REPELLANT!
Did you do ANY premises work??? Of course you didn't! DUH!!
