Any of the restaurants in Little Italy.
Lexington Market is the seafood market for locals.

Go to the Inner Habor it has everything. It is really great in the summer mainly when the O's are playing. Also right behind the old Powerplant (Hard Rock Cafe) is the little Italy area of Baltimore. The food is cheap here and great. Prepared to be stuffed every place is not skimpy on portions.

On the seafood side of things, Phillips hands down is the best. You pay for that best too. There is a lot of crab and seafood places around. Being the Inner Habor has the National Aquarium there. You got to see that! If you don't, you will be missing the main attraction of Baltimore.

I live in DC and take the train to Baltimore for day trips in the summer. I like Baltimore.

For a great locals place for seafood, try G&M in Linthicum. As a former resident of Maryland, I can honestly say that they have the BEST crabcakes in the world. Also, you won't find a lot of tourists there, but you WILL find a lot of locals there, so you may want to call and see if you can make a reservation. Also, for an interesting market experience, try Lexington Market and/or Broadway Market in downtown Baltimore. For nightlife in Baltimore, check out Fell's Point. There are lots of restaurants and bars in a nice area where you can walk around without fear of being hit by a car.

If you are looking for Seafood the locals go to... check out Phillip's off of Maine Ave. There is also a huge outdoor seafood market known as the Wharf. All the vendors are on floating boats. It's a really neat place and there are a lot of seafood to be consumed!

One of my favorite local places is Hard Times Cafe, best chili in the Metro DC area.

Seafood? Plenty of places in Baltimore along the Inner Harbor. Obryckis is legendary, but sort of touristy. Worth the crowd for the food though.
There are some good seafood places in Georgetown, near the CO Canal. That's a nice walk in the evening.

As others have suggested Crab season is over. a good style of the places alongside the wharf area are overpriced and not marvelous. indexed right here are a pair concepts no longer on the wharf Swans Oyster Depot and Crustation close to Polk and California.

Here's the best seafood restaurant...Obrycki's on Pratt Street.
since you're in Maryland, the specialty here is crabs and oysters.

This is not a chain and all the locals go there, so you'll enjoy it.

Hard Rock Cafe was one of my favorite experiences there. But there is also ESPN Zone if you like sports and games. The best place was... I think it was called Blue Moon or something like that.
