One day you will wake-up and realize just what a horror story the Bible really is-I read in Revelations that John saw all kind of creatures around the table of God-and this god of yours has what can only be described as monsters-I mean God the creator of all is surrounded by Horses with lions heads and lambs with fire in its eyes and fire breathing angels-Sounds like a Monster to me a nd you want me to get down on my knees before this thing and pray? So I don't Burn in Hell-from an entity that created hell-and Jesus will be sitting on this things right side surrounded by all these creatures with lotsa heads and eyes and wings-Man I can't wait to see the movie even if it is from the Front Row-and I hope he don't get too mad when I throw a tomato at the Director for such a bad show-and demand my soul back it that is the price of admission-I WANT A REFUND!

actually thats a fairy tale. they drink wine coz it gives them a buzz. there is allways the flair for dramatics in religion. maybe they thought they were drinking blood after too much wine. wine does that you know. some people see pink elephants. what does it hurt what they believe. as long as they dont believe blowing themselfs up and killing innocent people brings them to god.

The book is symbolic, sir.

I'm telling you right now. Don't throw that tomato. There's another show that's going on is much much worse. The director of that one will NOT give you back your admission ticket.

I mean this in the nicest way possible. If you're going into a battle of wits against Christians, please don't go in unarmed. It's not working for you. Secondly, change your picture. You look like an out-of-work alcoholic. Thirdly, your grammar and spelling are horrendous! Lastly, LSD is bad news. The quicker you stop, the quicker the healing can begin.

Firstly, sir, it would be great if you could start phrasing your questions so they sound more coherent and less like Crazy Milton, the bum on the corner roaring malt-fueled rantings and streams of conciousness.

Secondly, most Christians believe Revelation to be HIGHLY symbolic and allegorical; that being said, there are literalists.

Thirdly, Catholics, Orthodox (and Episcopalians? Anyone know?) do believe that they drink the blood of Christ, there is little symbolic about it.

Yippy, what you really mean to ask is: Are Catholics vampires? Don't target all Christian Denominations when your venom is intended for Catholic-Christians.

Catholics believe in transubstantiation, that is, that during the Mass the consecrated Bread and Wine become the actual Body and Blood of Christ without changing in appearance. Christ Himself commanded this, and said that unless one consumed His Body and Blood, he would not have life in Him. Because Catholics want to have Life in Christ, we follow His mandate. Of course, you have to Believe and your asinine question makes it obvious that you do not believe.

No, Catholics/Christians are not vampires nor cannibals. When the consecrated Bread and Wine does change in appearance, that is, visibly becomes flesh and blood, it is not consumed. It is viewed as a miracle and reported to the Bishop.

As for a refund, Yippy, I regret that I am not the one who can give it to you. I suggest that you ask for it when you stand before the Judgment Throne of God.

I do not offer to pray for you because you profess to be a non-believer. I will indulge in an old superstition, I wish you... Good luck!

Strictly speaking, Christians would be classed as haematovores if they literally drank human (i.e. that of Jesus) blood. As I understand it, the drinking of the blood (the life is in the blood, according to Old Testament law) is a physical symbol for a spiritual activity.

For whatever its worth, your opinion of God's book is not real relevant to him.
Btw- If God doesn't have your soul then satan does and you've got a lot bigger problems than your percieved problems with the Bible.
Christians don't drink blood, but facts and truth are not what this question is about anyways.

What an awsome question. Yes, I can see the vapiric parallels. They eat the flesh and drink the blood, and expect to live with the powerful leader guy forever . LOL

OK.

See it as something symbolic. I doubt that in the end of the world monsters from out of nowhere are going to appear.

i do no longer drink Jesus blood or consume His physique. I drink fruit of the vine and consume unleavened bread which represent His blood and His physique. I do it in remembrance of Him with the aid of fact He inquire from me to.
