I have seen a ton of stuff on here bashing the Marine Corps or our troops in general. Must take alot of guts to get on the computer and say that stuff while our guys(and girls) are in harms way.....I know we live in a free country...but why can't people have some respect?

Thats exactly what i mean...of course u are aloud your to speak u mind and say what u think...that's great think about USA...i'm just saying why can't we respect the people that have given us that?

Bethany.....My husband, brother, and cousin are Marines..along with most of my friends or their husbands...and they have NEVER done that and NEVER would.....so i don't know where your sources are from there

People have the right to run their sucks, but that's because somebody is willing to give their life for that right. Marine's are what they are for a reason.
Anyone who wants to talk trash about Marines should go see their recruiter and join up - now ! Don't question and bash the Marine corps because of a few dic-heads.
Support them and/or join them.

1st order of business , Bethany , you should keep that co ck-holster under your nose shut unless you know what your talking about , open books , not your legs, 2nd of all people who bash the military as a whole are just like the other gentleman said , the sit and hide behind the freedoms my brothers have died to defend , they are pretty much the chickenshit scum of the earth and last but not least , the members of other branches of armed forces that bash my beloved Corps are simply just mad because they didn't have the testicular fortitude to become a United States Marine , because yes we are the toughest , and the meanest , and trained till we are sharp as a razors edge , the Germans in WW1 didn't call us the Devil Dogs because they thought it was a warm fuzzy name , and yes there are a few out there that give the rest of us a bad name but they are still our brothers none the less , Thank You

Cowards abound in the safety of one's home behind a keyboard. Most people wouldn't have the guts to do or say half the tings they do in cyberspace to others, believe me. I can say i am an exception to this, and people get what they see when they meet me..assuming I give them the chance. I respect the job the USMC is doing and I respected their contributions to all other wars throughout our nation's history, including the ones I shared with them as a member of the U.S. Army, but I do often say, and would say today to anyone, that I still haven't forgiven those stupidass jarheads who would come to town and drive up the price of pussy in SE Asia during Nam...it could be the bush or an R&R site, those dickheads would always pay MUCH more than the going rate!!! For that they shall always live in infamy as particularly stupid in my book for not being able to get nooky without paying a fortune for it!

I think most people respect the individual marines,But It is the War mongers that control the military and that should be blamed for most complaints. The only way they have to solve a problem or to kill or intimidation ,and they will never change what is in some bodies heart with intimidation.

I would think the Navy is the most disrespected branch of military service. But I digress. Yeah people have no respect or decency for anything these days. Doesn't really surprise me anymore.

Human beings are self-righteous and hypocritical by nature. It is just a silly game we play. Pointing the finger at others, to try and take the attention off of ourselves.
But it doesn't work. Because when we constantly talk about others. We only draw attention to ourselves.

I have respect for all service men, although that does not mean that I should not have an opinion and disagree. That is what so many of service men have fought and died for after all. I practice my rights in the name of all the people who have struggled to give me those rights.

I think they are just jealous because some of them were not able to be marines. the marines are tough and very skilled at what they do. i am proud of them and the other service branches that fight for me overseas.

I agree. Stop bashing our troops! People who say they support the troops but not the mission are really saying they hope our troops fail in their mission.
