Micah 7:18 Who [is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth [in] mercy.
Micah 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

I love these, they are so true!!!
Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Micah 7:8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD [shall be] a light unto me. Micah 7:9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, [and] I shall behold his righteousness.

Response to the Luke 22 about the whole sword ordeal:
Now, this is when He had sent them out into the ministry two by two.
I told you not to take a purse, not to take any script, not to take extra shoes, did you lack anything? And they said, Nothing, Lord. And he said unto them, But now, if you have a purse, take it, and likewise script: and he that has no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end (Luk 22:35-37).
Jesus is saying, "Look, I sent you out before. I provided for you. But you're going to be going out soon again. I'm not going to be there this time. And things are going to be different; it's going to be tough. Before you were received, you're going to be rejected, you're going to be imprisoned, you're going to be hailed before the courts, you're going to have persecution. It's going to be hard."

...And they said, Lord, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough (Luk 22:38).

In other words, "You don't really understand, but you will." Jesus is not telling them to go out and make war against the world with swords, but He's just indicating the difficulty of that ministry that they are going to face after He has been taken away from them.

Put the rest where Jesus healed the man, and Jesus does not say to do it:
Luke 22:49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? Luke 22:50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
Luke 22:51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

Oh man. I was at church last night and I was crying tears of joy just over who he is and what he's done, and cheering of him being victorious over the devil, and He gave me these verses:

14 The LORD upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.

16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways
and loving toward all he has made.

18 The LORD is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.

19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.

20 The LORD watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.

21 My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.

It's really refreshing to know you serve that kind of God. A God who is there to lift you up! A God who is near, and hears the cries of the weak. A later passage says he SETS PRISONERS FREE!!

Hallelujah!
(modern translation: YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!)

yes I do. did you know that before jesus went to the garden of gesemine to pray before he was taken he told his disciples to bring swords. if they didnt have swords then sell their coats to buy one. luke chapter 22. why would he do this. was he expecting a fight. I know after someone lost their ear he stopped it. but he was the one to wanted to bring swords to pray? also peter was called a zeleot which in todays language would be likened too a rebel or terroist. and judas iscariot who iscari was the olden word for assasin. none of the other disciples had second names. also the two men hung on the cross were not thieves but zelots. if you look up the words in their greek you will see this. by practice this was the only punishement given to zeliots under roman law. I think jesus hung out with a tough crowd.

Eclesiastics(spelling is horrible this morning, not enough sleep)
There is a time and a place for everything.
Or, if you want to have a trip, the first verse....
Meaningless, Meaningless! Everything is meaningless! Cried the teacher of the assembly.
In simple terms, the teacher tries to find purpose in life....he tries to find what makes life, well, worth living....he discovers, that goods, wealth, slaves, even hard work, are a burden, for when one dies, who gets it? Someone else. So even the poor, and the rich man, both die. Check it out sometime, it's a fun book of the bible.

Wherefore Hanun took David's servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away. (1 Chron 19:4 & 2 Sam 10:4).
At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. (Isaiah 20:2-4). Hope these few god-inspired words bless you and make your day!!!!!!!!!!!

1 Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
1 Th 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Song of Solomon 2:16- My beloved is mine and I am His. Think of this and you and Christ. So many I believe have been deceived by the devil into thinking they are saved, I know I was for 2 years. Then on March 4,1999 I know I got saved. I can now say Jesus belongs to me and I belong to Him.
