The clenched butt fundi Christians hate it, but what don't they hate. Run of the mill Christians see the humor in it and Atheists all own copies of it to play on Zombie Day (Easter) when there is nothing but crap on TV.

"Always look at the bright side of life" is not a christian way of handling life. Especially when facing the death as in the movie, where Brian was crossed and started to sing this song together with the other condemned.

Therefore I don't think that Christians like the movie. Moreover to them it appears as Blasphemy.

I find it incredibly funny and watched it maybe 10 times and still found details I didn't recognize before.

"And Now For Something Completely Different" (1971) - another funny movie from the Monty Pythons

Monty Python movies crack me up! But it gets so monotonous. That slap stick humor can only be watched for short periods. My favorite is the Holy Grail. I love the coconut cups as the horse. Life of Brian is just some sick humor. Like all the Monty Python movies. They made the movies to be that way, strange or sick humor. I mean, babies don't really pop out that way, now do they!!! I haven't seen them in a long time. Really, you don't watch any movie every day.... Relax!

Any christian with a sense of humour would like it.

If i'm watching that movie in order to critique the theology/philosophy of it, then i'm watching for the wrong reason.

Some Christians with a sense of humor do. Dogma, too.

Yes(chuckle) Believe it or not. I have a lot more fun as a Christian than I did before I was one. I know more Christian "nuts" and "goofballs" than non.
