@Suzany: Clearly you don't know how science uses the word theory. It has nothing to do with the veracity of the proposition. As far as science is concerned theory is as good as it gets. Theories are well established predictive and explanatory models which come with a wide body of supporting evidence.

I agree that there is plenty of evidence for evolution, but not enough to say without a doubt that is what happened. And there is also plenty of evidence of a creator as well. For one thing the sheer complicatedness of the universe suggests that it is almost impossible (though not completely so) that it was created by chance. Also the fact that nothing has evolved in the past 6,000 years. Also the fact that humans have a need for spirituality (doesn't always pan out to a belief in God, but it does pan out to a need to be part of something larger than oneself), there seems little need for that (and therefore probably wouldn't evolve), but it does fit in with a God existing and wanting us to want to know Him.
Like I said, evolution has a lot of proof (though not conclusive), if you choose to believe it that is up to you and it is good that you stand by convictions. But don't deride others who choose to believe the proof that there is a God (and there is proof that way, though it also isn't conclusive). And neither side should be so attached to belief that if proof comes along that disproves your side, that you are unwilling to change. Learn more, use reason, that is the only way to get this right.
