Purgatory does not exist. It's not mentioned in the Bible in any way, shape, or form. It's a Catholic tale only. Heaven isn't just for baptised Christians. Not all Christians have been or had time to be baptised. Baptism is not the way to Heaven.

No i don't .Purgatory is a doctrine taught by Catholics . They claim that when we die, we are not sanctified enough to enter heaven where only pure soles go. Therefore, we need to be cleaned in Purgatory. The time you spend there depends on how good or bad you were while being on earth. To lessen that time, catholics offer masses for the deceased.Catholics support this belief, because there is a passage in the book of Macabeous, where it apparently teaches that. Protestant Bible don't include that book, and besides the whole rest of the Bible is clear in that point, that is, when you die you either go to hell or heaven.

Purgatory was created by one of the Popes because public opinion got to him about dogma being so harsh. It isn't in the bible, and was abolished by the new Pope recently.
CATHOLICS DON'T KEEP UP WITH ROME VERY WELL, AND A GREAT MANY DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT.
Similarly a few years back Pope John admitted the celebration of Christmass is Pagan and started long before Christ.
Consider the sheep feeding in the fields when Christ was born, probably in October or November.

Both Heaven and Hell are man created just like our ancestor created God to His Likeness.
Purgatory was added for those who can't accept "direct flight" to heaven/hell. How could want be easily rewarded and punished for faith alone?
I rather to go hell with those harmless holy people who had not heard of the gospels than those rapists/ murderers who repented, accept Christ and enter heaven realm.
Purgatory? Maybe purge some these murders/ rapist and hard criminals before entering the paradise...
Get Real! Heaven and Hell are on earth... We don't have physical bodies to enjoy blissful paradise or tormenting in hell when we leave the world.
Burn in hell? In mean real fire??? Let's have BBQ in Hell is a lot more fun place! Lucifer meat would be succulent!

Purgatory is a great thing. It means that when we die, if we aren't completely perfect, we have a chance to become perfected before we go in front of God. You wouldn't want to show up to the best party in the world with dirty, torn clothes, would you?
However, people who are in Purgatory have to suffer. It's important that we on earth pray for them, so that there suffering can be alleviated, and so that they can go to Heaven more quickly.

That is a catholic thing...like the worshiping of false idols.
It is hell if you have not accpeted Christ as your Lord and Savior and heaven if you have. THAT IS BIBLICAL!!
Besides why would you want to be seperated from God after death for a million years hasnt life been hard enough??

yes i do because in the world where it is not all black and white, it's hard to believe that the afterlife would not have some shades of grey.
