Aww.. Poor little thing...
OK.. Diarrhea is common in the little ones...
STOP feeding her her regular dog food and offer her plain white rice cooked with plain boiled chicken.. No spices.. little bites for the first few hours and then gently increase to her normal portion..
Also, offer her ice chips... or better yet go to the store and get some pedialite popsicles.. and offer her little bits..
You can also freeze plain chicken broth and offer that...
IF the diarrhea continues for more then 24 hours you should call the vet...
She could be allergic to the dog food.. make sure it is a high quality puppy food.. like Iams or Pedigree... if you are feeding her canned meat stop.. she is too little... she needs the dry food's vitamins...
She could also have an intestinal parasite that she picked up sniffin outside.. it's not major in the beginning, as a vet will give her a shot of antibiotics but it is important with her being so little to stay on top of it..
Also, if she has just her vaccinations, that can cause diahrrea...
And of course, give her lots of snuggles, warm blankets and a stuffie or Momma to cuddle with..
Good Luck!

Lots of things come to mind. The first being an upset stomach. Did she get ahold of any foods that she shoudn't have? If so, you can give her a little less than a teaspoon of pepto bismol, every three hours, for 3 times. Don't give her any food or water during this time so her stomach will calm down. When you resume feeding her 6 hrs later, give her a bland diet (boiled chicken breast & boiled white rice). Feed that for 48 hrs, then wean her back onto her food. Her stomach should be fine. If she doesn't get any better after the pepto, make an appt with your vet for bloodwork.

My vet has me give my dog good old Pepto Bismayl. For you size dog though I'm not sure about the dosage. Have you checked with the vet, they will usually answer these type of questions over the phone. Keep her on a bland diet (rice is good) and keep her off of canned dog food until her tummy settles.

It is more than likely what you are feeding her. Did you give her soft food that maybe you have never had before. My dog eats hard food everyday. Sometimes he gets soft food and when he does he has diarrea that same day.

We could use a little more information: is the stool very loose, watery even? Or is it just soft, what I like to call "mud butt".
Also, how long has this been going on? And is she still eating, drinking, and behaving normally, or is she lethargic or failing to eat or drink.
Diarrhea can be something as simple as a change of food or too many treats, to something life-threatening such as parvo. Best to call your vet right away & ask him/her, really.

Any sudden change in diet can cause diarrhea.
Could be worms. Have the vet check a stool sample.
The above is assuming that you have had her vaccinations done.
Does she have a temperature? Normal temp is 101-102
If she does, take her to a vet.

Ive heard that rice and some small amount of beef mixed it is suppose to help. My dog, however, gets this same condition or reverse when she has any sort of table scraps. I keep mine on a dry food and she is pretty regular.
