Many people can't handle relationships when they go from the initial hot 'n heavy to the less exciting (but no less intimate) phase of being together; it's known as the transitional phase. Bottom line: he's not a person that can handle it, because of immaturity or maybe other problems. Don't worry about it...get another that will treat you right!

He either means that their is someone else, or he dosn't know what he wants. If you tried is this relationship then it really isn't your fault. Don't worry move on. Im sure there is someone out there for you!

He most likely meant being in that particular relationship did not stimulate or excite him anymore like it did at the beginning.

I would take it as if he is telling me that he no longer feels the same anymore and that he wants it to be over well that is just me
