I am just wondering how come some many people in these forums containing questions about jehovah's witnesses. They are all so confused about and stuck on the 144 000 that go to heaven and belive that out of the 6 million plus of us are trying for that spot in heaven. I would of given up A LONG LONG TIME AGO if that was the case. Most of jehovahs witnesses are hoping for the time of armegedon and for our earthly hope of everlasting life and for everyone that has died to be resurected Here on earth. The 144000 are chosen to rule as kings over us in heaven. Psalms 37:9-11 Those hoping in jehovah are the onse that will possess the earth and they will find their exquistie delight in the abundace of peace.

For one thing, God made the earth for his children to live on.
He has all the angels he needs to do what he commands.
You seem to have a fair grasp of the bible.
Gods use of 144,000 is just for a limited period of time, And they are for instruction of the resurrected who will actually live forever on the cleansed earth.
Those selected for heavenly work are selected from all walks of life from Adam's time until the end.
They become kings and priests and will run the earthly government over those who remain alive after the judgment.
Eventually, Jesus will hand back the reigns of government to his father, and we will all live in peace.

I honestly am concerned for you as Jehovah Witnesses have a really wierd indoctrination.

Please understand that you are saved my friend. Your trust in Jesus is enough. The 144,000 has nothing to do with you. This is for the people of Israel in the end times.

Turn your eyes away from the Watchtower and only to Jesus - and while you are at it, get yourself a Bible not changed to suit JW theology.

JW is banned is several countries because it is a cult. You warp people's minds so they don't even want to visit their families. JW takes all joy out of life, including holidays, family, etc.

Oddly, JW encourages you to be poor and unsuccessful. What a bunch of loosers.

The reason you seek to convert others is to mask your own doubts of your beliefs. The reason you can't get out of JW is because your "friends" will disown you. That's a cult.

The best source for accurate information about Jehovah's Witnesses is their publications, their ministers, and their official website:

Way to go Daniel L!!!

My aunt and uncle are JW and they have disowned me because I needed blood transfusions and kidney transplants to stay alive. They would have rather seen me perish then do everything I could to save my life. How sick is that?

I feel much less confusion since I am a non-theist.
