It's held in a storage tank and pumped out later. Every once in a while you do hear of a plane that discharges the waste while in flight. It's called "blue Ice" because the blue water in the toilet freezes if it's released at a high altitude and there have been several stories of house getting damaged when the ice hits a roof.

On the CRJ-200 the waste from the toilet is stored in a tank and is off loaded after landing much like an RV, waste water (grey water) from the bathroom and galley sinks is vented directly overboard through heated vents (to prevent the water from freezing) the water hits the airstream and is instantly turned into a fine mist as we are going around 400 MPH

Goes into a holding tank and then when the plane lands there is a waste truck that empties the tank.

The waste is churned up in a tank of blue antiseptic fluid. Then when you flush this liquid is used to flush away the new waste. On the ground a special truck connects to the aircraft and removes the waste fluid and replenishes it with clean fluid!!

I'm guessing that it gets loaded into a tank that is installed on the plane and when the plane lands a tanker comes to the airport and takes it all away.
