My Grandmother's batter pudding. She used to cook it in a large oblong dish with the juice from the meat (beef) joint.
It was crispy on the outside, stodgy in the middle and delicious!!!
My Mum used to make those little ones because that's what my Dad liked. They taste like cardboard!

i miss my mums vegetable curry-shes been gone for 7 years but can still taste it when I think back-also the hot choclate she would leave out for me and my sister in front of the fire on a winters morning before we went to school-ah youve got me all emotional now!

None my mam could not cook yet im not a bad cook love stew &
dumplings.Liver,sausage & onions casseroled in oven with roast
potatoes & cabbage or carrots.You have got me feeling hungry.
