Thinking about Breeding your Rottweiler? http://www.rottweiler.on.ca/breed.htm

a five generation pedigree doesn't mean anything....it just means you have a piece of paper showing the dogs ancestors five generations back. If your dog is AKC registered, there are websites you can go to and enter the registration number and get a pedigree showing three, four, five or even more generations. What matters is the percentage of championed dogs in the most recent generations as well as whether your dog has been proven in the ring. Also, how old is your dog? If he's less than two, chances are he hasn't had his hips scored. Particularly with rotts, you really have to be careful of hip dysplasia....if your dog hasn't had his hips scored and gotten a score of at least good or excellent, you shouldn't be breeding him. Most vets will advise against getting the hips scored (which just involves taking an x-ray and sending it to the OFA to be read) before they are 2 since their bones are still growing.

These are things you need to be cognizant of before you make the decision to breed. If you aren't thinking of the total picture (conformation, health and temperament) you are jeopardizing the health and quality of the puppies.

Please think twice and consider neutering your dog.

Any dog with AKC papers can have a five generation pedigree. All that shows is who the parents were back five times.
This does not in any way shape or from make your dog a good candidate for breeding.
Do you have a Penn hip or OFA certification.
Have you had a CERF test done
Does you dog have a CH in front of his papered name or and titles behind his name.
If the answer to any of these questions is no or you do not know do not breed your dog.
If your dog has been titled get on line with the Rott club and find out how to offer stud services.
Depending on what your dog has for titles will get you different types of people looking to breed. Many people breed for confirmation showing and others breed for working titles.

If you have to ask this question here, you don't know anywhere near enough to be breeding.

Just because you know who his parents/grandparents/etc. are doesn't mean that he's worthy as a stud.

Has he had his hips and elbows checked? How about his eyes? What championships has he won? How's his temperament? His parents' temperaments?

In short what makes your dog an OUTSTANDING example of the breed, and what traits does he have that should be carried on in the gene pool?

The fact that he has a pair of balls and some papers doesn't cut it.

Get him neutered. There are already millions of animals killed every year because there aren't enough homes. Do the overpopulation problem a favor and don't add to it.

This isn't really a suitable place to advertise a genuine stud dog, you also don't mention anything about him, and given the problems within the breed genuine breeders are unlikely to just send their female to any dog.
Pet owners should be wary of using their dog for stud; experienced breeders know how to work their dog so that he doesn't become a sex maniac. Having your pet jumping on your visitors legs just because they have a female dog gets tiresome.
You need to have your dog tested for HD and OCD among other things, and he really should be a show or working champion.

it depends what you would like help with?
i take it you are looking to mate your dog with a ***** yes?, and not netur him?...
the best way to go about mating your dog, is to place an ad in somewhere like the free ads advertising your dog for stud, to be honest unless proven alot of the top breeders will not come forward,
also please be sure were you are sending your dog out to stud, please check for any suspisous circumstances for example not allowing you to see the ***** etc etc, as this could be a puppy mill farmer and that is not good.

With that pedigree, why don't you register with AKA?

That may be your answer to avoid mixed breeds.
