Do NOT go out and start eating unhealthy junk food.. it is bad for you and will just make you fat.

well if you want to put on muscle you need to eat lots of protein rich foods chicken breast, turkey, tuna fish and so on plus you may want to work out weight training will force break down your muscles and they will use the protein as building blocks and your body will use these blocks to build a bigger stronger muscle to exert a higher force this is how your body reacts to the stress of weight lifting if you do this you will get bigger you may ant to get about 150-200 grams of protein per day these can also be found more easily in a protein shake which will make it easier to get all the protein in if your not a big eater tho do not take all your protein from the shake hope this helps

If you're really serious about this, see a dietician and get a personal trainer. (I'm assuming you're young cos you said 'boy'). Therefore, you may not have much money. Eat lots of food that's full of protein (for muscle) and eat lots of fatty food that'll help you increase your weight. Do weights (lift things, do situps, push ups etc if possible) to increase your muscle size. This is a process that could take months. Although if you're determined, you'll do it.

I would eat a balance of protein and carbs. Avoid excessivly fatty foods, unless you just want a gut and love handels. Also, my brother found that a good way to build arm muscles is the try and curl a weight that is to heavy for you. Try your hardest and eventually you will be able to.

Weightlifting builds muscle, but you have to eat enough protein too.If you can get the protein you can sculpt your body to the ideal shape with weights, but it takes some work to do it. IT works if YOU do!
There are books on the subject, try your library.

My chap was skinny (way before I met him) and took up weight lifting etc and soon bulked up. Be careful though as it soon turns to fat if it is not kept up xx
