something funny or silly not expenxsive ie music or dvd of fav band a cool t-shirt famous poster etc
that way its not to serious and he will love it ,but it looks effortless on your part so you come away looking pretty cool

Since it's an ex, nothing too special so that he won't get the wrong idea that you might want him back and/or you're still obsessed with him. For my friend, kind of like that situation (he's turning 17 as well), I would just give a funny card. And add something like "glad we're still friends" kind of thing. Hope this helps!

Why would u want 2 give an ex something , unless u are still interested in him...........perfumes , pics with you framed , jewelry etc.

i think it would really be sweet if you got him something as long as it doesnt give him the impression that you want him back!get him something nice,sweet and says i dont want you back!!!like cologne is good!not soo expensive and really innocent too!!what do you think?
