i think layers would add volume and a few copper highlights would make it really stand out and look amazing! i'm prone to quite greasy hair too but you can buy something called dry shampoo from most good chemists - just spray it on and it'll stop the grease until you get chance to wash your hair. it works really well for me and is usually around £5.
hope i've helped a little lol xox

I have very similar hair. What I do is use baby shampoo with a leave-in conditioner. It is really gentle and it got my hair back into shape without weighing it down. As far as the cut, I'd bring it up about 2 inches (to slightly below your shoulder) to add more body and make you look taller, and then add a few long layers (heavy or chuncky layering leaves holes). I'd also consider long bangs to give you something to play with. If you really want a change, you sound like you have the perfect body and hair for a chin length bob that is layered in the back with long bangs.

To help with the greasy hair and stuff, you should probably start washing it every other day. And I don't normally use hair products, I wouldn't advise you to use too many products. For shampoo and conditioner, I use Pantene Pro-V, and my hair looks stellar! But also, I rarely use hair products. If you're starting to get split ends, then I would go into a salon and just get it trimmed. Maybe if you're tired of the same look, you should try bangs like Ashley Tisdale, and maybe color or layers. Something young and fresh(unless you're like, in ur 40's), hope this helped!

I believe that getting a few layers won't hurt, and it will add volume to your hair.
Get a good volumizing shampoo, and try using rollers to add to the volume.
I use the hot rollers and it works great for my hair, it adds body and volume to it.
But before you use them you have to make sure that your hair is dry and also use "ISO bouncy cream" it helps add volume to your hair and keeps it from going flat!
If it is very damaged, try rinsing it with some cocoanut milk, it will help your hair recover...
If you have colored hair there is a shampoo called purology which is very good and it does not contain any of the sulfate stuff... it's a bit pricy, but works better than others..
If you don't want to spend a lot of money on shampoo then try BioSilk I've used it for a long time and it was good.

if u are looking to keep your length then get a cut that falls right around your collar bone, this will still enable u to pull your hair back, while still able to have some fullness. don't apply your conditioner (in the shower) directly to your root area, this will only make your scalp get greasy faster. instead apply it only where u need it. on the dryer parts of your hair. also if you use any silicone based styling products these should be kept away from your scalp as well. if your hair is dry (and fine)stay away from heavy concentrated products, stick with spray in conditioners (alot lighter). biolage-Energizing Daily Leave-in Tonic is a good one plus it has sunscreen in it good luck

You could wear a bandana or a small (55 to 60cm square) scarf.
Fold it and tie it as a head band (a bit larger), or tie it as triangle on the back of the neck or even tie it as pirate style. This two last goes really well with sun glasses. It is really a great fashion statement. It is a shame women don't wear it more often. Believe me we men do look at you. The colour calls the look to your head and emphasises your face and eyes

A layered cut sound like it would work best as it would add lots of movement to your hair; you could still keep the overall length but add excitement to your do.
If your hair is very fine, you want to use a volumizer that adds shine.

what's the shape of your face?
for an oval face , anything works! it's the perfect shape.
short layers to get rid of the yuk stuff.
have stylist hold up at 45 degree and cut at 45 degree angel.
chop a few texturizing slices thru and it's ideal!
you can use pomade or hairglue , depending on the look you want.
