I went out last night and ran into my ex's friend. We have freshly broken up and his friend wants to take me to the movies tonight. His friend sat there and told me that my ex never claimed me as his girlfriend and that he is a player. What should I do?

If I were you, I wouldn't even go there! Not... Don't get involved. I realize you are freshly broken up with, but to date his friend I would think would create more issues. Like mom always said, fish around there are alot of fish out there. Tell your x's friend no thank you, and leave it at that. Unless its something you want to do. But if there is a choice to be made. I wouldn't do it., but its your decision. good luck!

Men discuss a lot of things, about the women they don't take seriously, to their friends. Probably your ex didn't think much highly of you. And this friend of his wants to go for the easy ride too. I would ask you to try to gain some control over your hormones and wait for a good guy to come along, instead of these opportunists who are waiting for you to be free to jump on your bones.

I would go out and enjoy myself. Have fun and try and move on and forget your ex. Maybe the friend is better for you anyways, make a new friend......possibly more. Just have fun and enjoy yourself.
Talk to the ex and find out why he acted the way he did.

Avoid the drama. No doubt you're a hottie, and other men will definitely ask you out. Doesn't it seem odd to you that this guy would swoop in and give you negative information?? Move on. Make a fresh start. Date men that recognize you for the prize you are- not men who know you're sad and vulnerable right now...

if your ex could be that mean and never talk about you as his girlfriend then i dont think you should waste your time even thinking about him!besides,he is your ex!but if you think that his friend is jus doing this to get you,its going to be hard to tell!anyway,what is so bad about going for a movie!if you got no bad agenda and he doesnt too,then give it a shot girl!dont feel guilty about anything!you have your fun!!

prolly hes playin around with you orrrrr you ex is provin you with his friend. if you go out again your stupid bc its not right you hangin out with you x's friends. and also hes a loser to be talkin this way about his "friend" (aka your ex).
Just bc of that you should had thinking twice before hangin out or datin him, hes a bs player!
the better you do is to keep away from your ex and his friends... theres a lot of fishes in the sea ;)

this guy is playing you for a fool!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't be one, be smarter and stay away, unless you like being used, He a player and is looking at you as easy prey for another notch in his belt. Prove me wrong- go to the movies and see where it leads I am betting he will try something. hopefully I am wrong about this guy but I don't think so. Test him and see if your curious.
