I'd have to agree with Shelly's input.. red wine is better, because there's antioxidants in the skins, and during the wine making process for red wines, these goodies are extracted from the skins and the grape seeds as the large steel vats are rotated every once in a while (which ultimately forms the 'red' color.) Red wine also promotes blood flow so it does help with your cholesterol levels.

both are good when you only have 1 or 2 glasses. drinking to much is bad.

i wouldn't recommend either one on a daily basis. maybe on occasions and in moderation but like almost everything if it's done on a daily basis it becomes habit forming or an addiction.
