You can still get pregnant. You should really stop having sex if you cant handle the consequences of it. You just killed a human life, then you go about the same acts that created it. Do you lack common sense? And why kill the child? There are plenty of women out there who cant have children, you should have paid for your mistake and given it to someone who could better care for the child. Having children is a blessing and a privilege, dont take it for granted.

And if you didnt care what people think, why did you even ask, given that your an irresponsible child?

If any of the answerer's come back to this question, I have to say, If this lady wanted BASHING, she would tell her mother about this. Odviously she DOESNT, she wants help.

Although I do agree with some points these people are answering, ie., dont have sex if you cant handle the responsibility of ENDING the baby. If you are fine with that choice, then it's YOUR choice and ultimately YOU have to deal with it for all of your life. I PERSONALLY think it's GREAT that you are ending a life because you cant handle the responsibility. TOO many people in this world have a baby because it's "the right thing to do" and then end up screwing up that babies life for the rest of IT'S life. that's WRONG. Im not about using termination as birthcontrol, but you shouldnt keep a baby if you cant care for it.

ON TO YOUR QUESTION: If you have just taken a pill that terminates the pregnancy, I believe you have just purposely made yourself have a miscarriage. After a miscarriage, they ask that you abstain from sex for a while. Actually, to be honest, I had to look this up and this is what I got.

The PCP is believed to work principally by preventing your ovaries from releasing an egg, and by affecting the womb lining, so that a fertilised egg couldn’t ‘embed’ itself there.

AND

please note that your next period may come early – or late. But if it doesn’t arrive within a couple of days of the expected time, see a doctor.

the PCP does not protect you for the rest of your menstrual cycle; therefore, either abstain from sex or use a barrier method (like a condom).

the PCP is not good at protecting against ectopic pregnancies, although these are rare - so if by any chance you get lower tummy pain (or abnormal bleeding) in the few weeks after using it, see your doctor.

My advice is to start taking the birth control pill as well as using a condom EACH and EVERY time.

you are not protected for the rest of your cycle.. so use a condom always and get on the pill QUICK!

I'm so sorry. That must have been horrible for you.

There is a chance that you could still get pregnant depending on what kind of procedure they used on you and how far along you were. It depends on whether they used medication to terminate an early pregnancy (less than 12 week) or one of the proceedures classified as a partial birth abortion (D&E, D&X, or D&C) either could be used before 12 weeks, so it is something that affects your chances of concieving. If it was a D&whatever proceedure, then chances are no. If it was medication, then there is a higher chance.

My advice would be to consult your gynecologist or planned parenthood to get emergency contraception because your womb is not fit to raise a child right now (even if you conceived and wanted to keep it, you would most likely miscarry). I would consider going on hormonal birth control (pill, patch, IUD) to try to prevent ovulation for a while and then continue to use condoms. Again, I really feel for you and I hope for your sake that you aren't.

Depending on when you had the abortion, you most likely can still get pregnant. If you just had the procedure done, then you most definately should not be having sex because your body needs time to heal. After giving birth you must wait 6 weeks, so I am guessing that you would want to wait at least a couple weeks after an abortion just to give everything time to go back to normal. Have you had your period yet? Were you ovulating at the time? These are all things you need to consider to try and figure out if you could be pregnant. Good luck.

You really need to stop having sex. Obviously you're not adult enough or mature enough to handle the responsibilities that come along with sex. It's pathetic that you already killed one child and are still having sex and well, could be pregnant again. You need to just stop having sex..keep your legs closed for a long time..till youre ready to grow up.
