My uncle once told me that you shouldn't just lie down aftere eating. So, does he have a point here?
Whats your take on this issue?

Yes it helps your food to disgest properly and you can upset your stomach if you work out or lay down directly after eating.

If you have a hiatal hernia, you oo ned to sit up and not lie down after eating. There are a couple other reasons also such as gastric reflux disease. It is not a bad idea, it lets out the gas formed in digestion thrugh burps easier.

A way that you can sit up for 30min. after you eat is to bring in a chair that has a hard back in to the living room or the place where TV is. Then find a show on TV that you like you like and watch it for either how ever long it is or for the entire show.
that has always worked for me, and it also helps with posture

it doesn't matter what you do after eating. you could run a mile if you really wanted to, you may get a side cramp though. either way it won't affect your digestion.

Makes sense to me. Allows time for your food to go down where it's supposed to I guess.
