If God were real, ie; an all-knowing, benevolent super being, wouldn't He hide his existence from mankind, given that we have been slaughtering each other throughout history in His name?

The real God, not the made up god of the bible or koran, is a multi-pan-dimensional being responsible for the creation and maintenance of a quad-zillion-billion-trillion universes. Currently She is not available for comment as She is relaxing on Granaphis 4 watching the inter trans dimensional killidram races in the Veloric Universe. Either that or playing skeeball in Jersey.

If God were real, then there would only be one God and theoretically there would have not been any of this mindless slaughtering over the millennia, as most of this fighting has been over different religions.

I don't think any of us is prepared to see God in His entirety yet. We are just too impure and too limited. But He reveals Himself to us in subtle ways, just like Jesus spoke in parables,"that in NOT seeing, you may see". He wants us to look at things, to be curious and to search out His truths.
Find the order in chaos, and you will have seen a part of God.

Because he is all that you've mentioned - he's not worried about his reputation - we're the only ones who seem to be worried about God's rep - reading his Word reassures us his rep is intact - that it's mankinds rep that has fallen to the wayside!

he is very real look around you how do you think this world got here? and when you are saved you can feel him in your heart it is the best peace you will ever know one day soon he will be coming back i hope you will be saved because if your not you will be left behind and i don't wish that on anyone !!
