If your break room has a microwave, you can take last night's leftovers or leftover take-out. If you have a fridge, use it, if not, buy blue ice and an insulated bag.

If you're a desk eater, things that aren't messy are primo. Lettuce wraps (fill with shredded chicken, dried cranberries, chopped pecans and a little mayo) are a good choice. To just snack and graze while working, try putting baby carrots, celery sticks, grape tomatoes, seedless grapes, cheese cubes, broccoli florets, wheat crackers or chunks of good bread in a container and just munching while you work. Anything wrapped into a flour tortilla (I like to use lowfat cream cheese as a spread, then fill with deli sliced ham and sliced dill pickles or turkey, tomato and avocado slices)

You can make a salad out of anything... and top it with different things each day. We do a big batch of basic salad mix in the beginning of the week and then one day might add chopped egg, bacon bits and bleu cheese... the next day might be leftover chicken and marinated artichoke hearts... the day after that might be a pouch of tuna and some chopped sweet pickles... yet another day we'll throw on some quick thaw (by rinsing) cooked baby salad shrimp and some avocado. I love adding dried fruit and nuts to salads to make them pack even more of a nutrition and filling punch.

Enjoy your upcoming year. In my house we love teachers! I spent three years hiring them with Head Start and I have two children in college studying to BE teachers :)

Any lunch that is suitable for people to take to just about any job. If you want to keep the food fresh, use an insulated lunch container and blue ice.

You know lunchables for kids? Well if you check out that section of your grocery, you will find that they have come out with those for adults! They are very yummy lol. I bought these chicken salad wrap kits and they are excellent. Also try getting the tuna kits that come with crackers and relish, they are so easy to just grab and go!

there's these easy-mac bowls that they have now its mac and cheese that comes in a microwavable little bowl and you add water to the macaroni and then microwave it and then the cheese its really good. also cambles soup at hand. try a yummy salad, my advice is to put the dressing on the side or the salad will get soggy.
