my face is perfectly ovular but now that ive lost some weight id like it to appear wider...my hair colours perfect for im medium brown with bright blonde highlights..itz 3 inches down my shoulders...i still wanna grow it longer..itz healthy.. the cutz feathered at front from chin down nd layered all around from next to my ears down...any suggestions on how to alter my cut to make my face appear wider..thanx

instead of wearing your angles on your face, direct your hair away from your face. the angles (feathering) on your face r making your face look smaller. any length below the shoulders is going to make your face look longer. since u have an oval shape you can wear just about any hairstyle. lucky. when styling your hair, give it a little bit of height on top and in the crown. use a spray mousse at the root area and with either a ceramic or metal round brush, (after the hair is about 85% dry), add the heat until dry then b4 releasing the brush hit it with the cool shot button to set the fullness good luck

Your face frame (or feathering as you call it) is going to emphasize the oval shape. A shorter blunt cut or inverted bob would change that.

ima hairdresser... and you say you want to go from oval to round ... accually there are no answers for that... because oval is the ideal face shape everything that you learn is making every other facial shape loook more oval... you should be happy you can wear your hair however you want because your ideal but sorry to say your stuck with it u cant change it

Why don't you see a good hairdresser and see what their suggestions are??? They would be the best person to consult. Especially not having a picture of you. All the best to you on having lost weight!!!!
