Great question (not like mine!)

I guess this could go down the lines of nature /nuture in one respect...is it in their nature to want to change, if so how do you press their buttons: well you do need to be interested enough to understand so listening is important and hearing the answer with prejudice is just as important

Do you want to stir towards tuth or just wind people up? I just want to get some emotion, good bad - I hate indifference and glossy glibness...

A side way to a point but it does highlight the problem. Changes have to come from within. This can only occur if the desire is there. Help has to be asked for. Forcing change seldom works and then usually brings the wrong changes.

it seems to me a lot of people on Yahoo Answers are asking a lot of questions without taking the time to look at and concider and ponder the answers.

Are we playing spiritual Jeopardy? Are we just yelling at eachother in the form of a question?

Yes, adapting to the environment changes people.

Not everyone is social creature in need of allies.

U can change urself only, not others. Just put urself at their position and then ask Ur self the question. May be u feel what they are feeling at their positions (situations ).

People must want to change. But I must be interested in them and what they say, too.

You can make thenm think, and hopefully they will see the reasons for changing themselves.

You can't literally change somebody - they have to want to change themself first. You can help though.
