If I found a 4-leaf clover under a ladder, I would walk under the ladder, go back to look at the clover, and then walk away, under the ladder, of course.

First you look up to check if anyone is on the ladder, then you move it out of your way so you can get the clover. Then you put the ladder back so the guy that was using it doesn't sue you. That way you're really lucky! ???
Or maybe press your luck and go ahead and walk under it and get the clover, figuring if it weren't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all.... This reminds me of Dirty Harry...." feel lucky, punk? well, do ya?" LOL

I would have to guess... nothing.
You could always move the ladder, providing no ones on it, and get the clover without going under it.
Walking under a ladder is not only a superstitious thing, guys. It's a safety thing. Ever have a paint can fall on your head?

Newtonian law dictates that if you take the clover, then a black cat will eat your first born child...

Because of the physics laws of matter / anti-matter, you'd form a black hole and disappear.
